Description
The Austrian Science Fund (German: Fonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung, FWF) is the main funding organization for basic research in Austria. The FWF supports research in biomedical sciences, natural sciences, and social sciences and the humanities through a large variety of funding programmes and prizes.
Since 2009 the FWF offers a dedicated program to support open assess book publications. Books funded by the FWF have to be deposited in the FWF E-Book Library. This repository provides free online access to digital copies of all FWF-funded publications submitted since December 2011 and an archive of FWF-funded books published since 2000. The books are then harvested by OAPEN.
