Peer review procedure
All book proposals and manuscripts are submitted directly to either the editors of a series or to the transcript acquisitions editors. Proposals and/or manuscripts that undergo a peer-review assessment process are sent for external (single or double blind) review by internationally well-established experts in the relevant academic field(s) to assess its overall quality and scholarly relevance.
A minimum of one independent peer review must be secured before a manuscript is accepted. All peer reviewers are required to submit a formal report which is sent in an anonymous form to the authors.
