  2. One external anonymous review of a proposal, two of a full manuscript.

  3. Submission to the Editorial Advisory Board of Liverpool University Press, a body drawn from some of the most distinguished scholars in the University of Liverpool’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, for approval.

  4. Submission to an internal publishing meeting for approval and contract issue.

  5. On receipt of ‘final’ manuscript: two anonymous external reviews or one series editor and one anonymous external review.

  6. Author revisions, Liverpool University Press approval and final submission.
